The interface is very simple and should be self-explanatory. I will however upload a help file or include it in the program download in the future.

I have not been able to test the different versions extensively as  I don’t have the money or time to do so. If you do identify a bug, by all means, drop me a line and I’ll try to sort it out when I can.

A medline search will turn up many references, the original POSSUM and p-POSSUM scores have been modified and tested in other surgical populations now (albeit with minor modifications) and remains a useful estimate of mortality. There is a nice summary and online calculator at www.riskprediction.org.uk
