Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (UKCP)
We are experienced UKCP Registered psychotherapists offering:
short and long-term counselling
We are available for work with individuals and couples, including young people and children.
Our service is for a wide range of clients. We see people who are experiencing problems in their relationships with friends, partners, or families and who may feel isolated, depressed, anxious, confused, or struggling with issues of identity. We also work with people who express their distress through phobias, eating problems, and addictions.
We are experienced in working with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds and with different sexualities.
We can offer sessions
in French as well as English.
We also offer:
supervision for psychotherapists and counsellors, including student counsellors
training and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for counsellors and psychotherapists
consultations on choosing a psychotherapy training
management and organisational supervision
We have taught, supervised, and been training therapists for trainees at the Guild of Psychotherapists, the Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, the Philadelphia Association, the Arbours Association, IPSS, Nafsiyat, the Women's Therapy Centre, Regents College, the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of Sheffield, City University, Goldsmiths' College, and Crawford College of Art, Cork.
In addition to the above, our memberships of therapists' and counsellors' referral registers include the UKCP, BAC, Kairos, The Society for Existential Analysis, the Refugee Therapy Centre, the Multi-Lingual Psychotherapy Centre, the British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision, Ceridian and Corecare (employee assistance schemes).
We have experience in working in a range of statutory and voluntary organisations, as psychotherapists, art therapists, and counsellors, including the NHS and student counselling services.
