JEAN  WOOD  TEAM  TROPHY,   RYTON  8th JUNE  2009  
  Vets Captain Jackie Gill and her team of Brenda Farrell and Bernice Packman from Billingham, winners of the Jean Wood Trophy with 74 points. They also won the Best Gross with 44 points.

  Elaine Thubron, Sue I'Anson and Isabel Nowell (Seaton Carew) were second after a count back with Sheila Porritt, Melva Stabler and Gillian Malia (Darlington). Both teams had 70 points.

  The 30 Bronze players in  the Vets Spring Meeting at Seaton Carew had a tough time playing the Brabazon course on  a very windy day but Margaret Russell (Woodham) conquered the conditions to win both the gross and the nett trophies with scores of 98 and 76 respectively. Janet Dodds (Seaton Carew) took the second nett prize (108-32=76) and Ann Morron (Billingham) was third nett (100-23=77)
