Introducing Jason III, born at 1700 hours on 1 April 2003, when Jason Junior retired. Again a Yamaha XJ900S but this time in silver.


Easter 2003 saw my first trip to the seaside, and I have now been all over, from Mundersley in the east to Holyhead

in the West. South as far as the Isle of Portland, north to Annan. Now I have been to Scotland and Wales, as well as various parts of England I am beginning to find my way around, just like my predecessors.

I passed the 1000 milestone in Langham (Norfolk) on 23 May. The 7000 milestone was achieved on 13 December near Langwith (Nottinghamshire). 7500 miles at Cromer on 7 February 2004. (top right). 8500 at Conwy (right) on 3 April 2004. 10000 mile was passed on May 8 near the “Mr Kippling” roundabout in Rugby. 12000 in Cromer on 14 July 2004, the day after I fell over, outside Holkham Hall, in North Norfolk. I fell over the other way in a multi-story car-park in Leicester on 6 October 2004.

13000 miles was on 7 August just west of Haltwhistle in Northumberland. 15000 on the A57 near Ladybower on 30 October 2004. By the end of 2004 the total was 17113.
26000 miles on my 3rd birthday 1 April 2006 at Rhos on Sea.

I had my first service on 9 May 2003, and my second one on 2 October. April 27 2004 at just under 9500 saw my third service. 25 August at 14047 miles and service number four. 12 April 2005 and 18678 miles a new front tyre and service. 8 November 2005 service at 24000 miles.
My first MOT on 28 March 2006 I needed a new exhaust.

30 June 2006, and another service. The 30000 mile mark was passed at Queen’s Park Chesterfield on 2 September, on my way to Mold. A service at 32500 mile at the end of November. Finishing 2006 at 32921 miles.
