Edwinstowe, in the heart of Sherwood Forest, is the village where Robin Hood and Maid Marian are reputed to have married in the Parish Church (right). A statue of them stands outside the library (far right). There are a variety of small shops in the village (bottom) and a cricket pitch near the entrance to the wood land (below). |
