What Is Music Database

Music Database is a program designed to store an electronic catalog of your CD collection.

I have recently updated Music Database. Music Database V2 has add, edit, search and delete features. A completely new reporting facility has been added so that Microsoft^® Word 97^® is no longer needed to produce and print reports.

I'm sure you've all been in this situation:You know the name of a track but you don't know the album you can find that track on in your collection, Music Database does!

The database can be opened in Microsoft^® Access^® but you don't need Microsoft^® Access^® to run the program.

The search features in Music Databse V2 have been massively updated since the first version. You can search for albums by artist and by album name, tracks by track name and track artist and display a list of all the tracks on a particular album.

Adding data is very simple, and has been made easier than in the first version. There is no longer the need to enter all the artist names before adding album and track details.

You can import artist, albums and tracks from the old version.

You can even store the front cover of the album in the database. Very handy when you want to find an album in your collection and you've forgotten what it looks like. Album covers can be easily obtained from many websites or you can scan them on to your hard drive if you have a scanner.

The interface is very simple to use and a help file is included.
