Creature Catcher

Hello, thanks for reading my page. My design catches mice, and other small animals, without hurting them. Not only is this good for the mouse, it has many advantages for you too; if you read on, I think you'll see what I mean.

Quick and easy

The design is deceptively simple now, so it's quick and easy to put together. But it took lots of experiments and refining to get it to work well.

I have put a lot of effort into the write-up. It is clearly explained and has many carefully taken photographs.


Make several; they cost next to nothing

Household rubbish (trash) is what you need, and some sticky tape. So, since the traps cost virtually nothing, you may choose to make several.


Good fun and very rewarding

This is an uplifting way to be rid of your unwelcome guests. Turning rubbish into something useful feels good and is environmentally sound.

Being a little bit creative is always satisfying. And taking some trouble to avoid unnecessary cruelty makes us feel better about ourselves.

There is no risk of hurting yourself when setting this trap. Also, it is completely safe when set.

Because it's safe, you can place this trap anywhere, without worry. This often means you can put it in more effective places than the more brutal traps.

As humane as you choose

This design provides some space for your little captives. The actual size will be your choice. To reduce stress, you can provide water and bedding. Ideally, wild creatures should be released as soon as possible.
