March Cottage is a family run Bed and Breakfast situated in a quiet tree lined avenue on the outskirts of Faversham the
"Market town of Kings."  London is just one hour away by train, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay or Margate are a short ride away. For a fantastic experience go to Blue water shopping complex only half an hour by car.
There are numerous National Trust properties in our area such as Ightam Mote, The Knole and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens.
If you like to visit castles, we have Dover, Deal, Walmer and Rochester castles all within easy reach of March Cottage. You can even take advantage of the short ferry crossing or channel tunnel to France for the day.
We are ideally situated for walking the Saxon Shoreway or The Downs or just taking in the superb scenery the Garden of England has to offer.
The Mediaeval town of Faversham is steeped in history from
murder to smuggling and from visiting kings to gunpowder manufacturing. There are hundreds of listed buildings and the oldest brewery in the U.K.
The marshes at nearby Oare are particularly good for bird watching.
For dining out you are spoilt for choice with Chinese, Thai and
Indian restaurants or a variety of good pubs with traditional food to tempt you.
