About Me

I have been involved in nature photography since I was able to buy my first SLR camera, a Zenit ‘E’ with an excellent Helios lens. I moved on to Nikon equipment, which I used on trips to Africa and Australia. In recent years I have been persuaded on to Canon digital cameras, along with their ‘L’ lens series. Digital photography is a real shot in the arm for anyone who is familiar with computers.

I pursued my interest in natural history during 10 years developing new exhibitions for the Natural History Museum at South Kensington, London, and earned a BIVA (British Interactive Video Association) gold award. After some years as an independent computer consultant, experimenting with various creative outlets, I ended up pursuing naturalist interests and nature / outdoor photography with iStockphoto.
