Marjory died three days before her brother Harry's sixth birthday, after eating berries.
John died as a result of a lung wound, received at Gallipoli. A Capt. John Crompton is recorded as being in the Settle Sanatorium. Whilst this would link with a lung wound there is no confirmation that it is the same Captain John nor of the location of the sanatorium.
Mary Ellen Crompton, of 91 Cardigan Road Bridlington, was buried 04 August 1944 aged 80.
