is likely that he knew Thomas richardson Crompton and that their children may
have met and married because
of a common social standing.
A Newyear Rowlin is listed in the 1834 voters for Bridlington as a freehold house owner in Kirk Gate. In the 1841 census his widow was 'of independent means', living in street where Thomas Crompton, born 1738, had lived. In 1841 Thomas richardson and Isabella were recorded as living at High Green.
