Directions to reach The Ferns, St Neots. (detailed directions are below)

From Bedford or from London:
Go north on the A1 and take the exit marked A428 Cambridge.
At the round-about, follow the signs for A428 Cambridge.
From Huntingdon and the north:
Go south on the A1. Ignore the first two minor exits marked St Neots and take
the exit marked A428 Cambridge. At the round-about follow the signs for A428 Cambridge.
(It is possible to take the earlier exits but they lead you into the centre of St Neots and it is easy to get lost).

After leaving the A1 and following the A428, after about 1 mile you will come to a round-about
with Tesco on your left and a large power station on your right. Turn left at this round-about. You are now
going north.

There is a series of 4 round-abouts in quick succession, at each go straight on.
At the round-about next to the school, go straight on into the residential area.
After about 300 metres you will see a pub called the Hare and Hounds on your left
and you will come to an open green (Eynesbury Green).
The Ferns is on your right immediately opposite the Hare and Hounds. Please note that we do not have
a "B&B" sign outside.

From the M11, Cambridge and the east:
Travelling north on the M11 take exit 13, signposted A1303 Bedford.
At the traffic lights turn left and follow signs for Bedford. You will soon join the A428.
If starting from Cambridge, take the Madingley Road out of Cambridge (A1303) and follow
signs for Bedford.You will join the A428.
If coming from further East on the A14, do not turn off towards Huntingdon or the M11 but
continue straight on, signposted to Bedford. The road becomes the A428.

Continue to follow the signs for Bedford until you see signs for St Neots (approx 15 miles)..
Ignore the first turn-off marked St Neots (it takes you into the centre of the town).
Instead continue on the A428 round the south side of St Neots.
You will pass under the railway and then come to a round-about with a large power station
on your left and Tesco on your right. Turn right at this round-about. You are now going north.

There is a series of 4 round-abouts in quick succession, at each go straight on.
At the round-about next to the school, go straight on into the residential area.
On your left you  will see the pub called 'The Cambridgeshire Hunter'. Go straight on.
After about 150 metres you will see a pub called the Hare and Hounds on your left
and you will come to an open green (Eynesbury Green).
The Ferns is on your right immediately opposite the Hare and Hounds. It is almost exactly
a mile from the Tesco roundabout. Please note that we do not have a "B&B" sign outside.
