This interactive pilot show for kids off from school, involved searches, questions, puzzles, phoning in, and a comprehensive use of email and the web for viewers' responses, whilst the programme was on air. Real 'edutainment' with specially written studio-based drama by multi award-winning author Peter Corie.

Composer Michael Omer was musical director for the show, and responsible for producing 'on the fly' instant music from a special digital technology - namely his ten digits (fingers!!). The title music was pre-written by Michael, but all other cues for this 25 minute programme were improvised on the spot!!!...true "music to picture"!

As the programme had a very free form, elements such as 'phone-ins' - whilst giving instant feedback to the audience, also made for unpredictable length of programme, and the music was instantly adjusted to the required running time..."LIVE" on air!

Innovated by executive producer Sue Knott at BBC Education, this production was virtuosically directed by Richard Simkin and Steve Smith .
