DESCRIPTION:
Geographically
the largest water company in the
UK
, the company delivers a billion litres a day of high quality
drinking water to six million people across 27,000 square
miles. In this position you can expect plenty of variety,
interest and challenge.
Resolving
a wide range of technical issues at business customer sites,
you will work to optimise the use of water and the disposal of
wastewater. This will involve conducting discussions with
customers, preparing detailed proposals and reports, and
project managing solutions, including demand management,
water/wastewater treatment and process control systems. Reporting
to the Technical Team Leader, within the dedicated Business
Customer Service Technical Team, you will also conduct surveys
and liaise with contractors regarding commercial customer
meter exchanges. Based at
Peterborough
the role will involve some travel to customer sites across the
region.
A Graduate Engineer with
some experience in water and wastewater roles, you will bring
technical expertise and project management skills. You’re
flexible, imaginative and a very able communicator, feeling at
ease working with both technical and non technical people.
You’re able to influence at all levels whilst maintaining an
objective view of the solution needed.

– £37,000 pa + pension + 26 days leave + private health
