JOB  DESCRIPTION:

Commissioning and start up services

To interface with construction activities and accept electrical systems into service completing pre and post energisation checks, devekoping test schedules and QC records. To supervise with vendors the testing and tuning of generation equipment, load shedding and network control systems and feeds to single customers. Conduct of initial drive runs.

Sound knowledge of electrical commissioning and start up with minimum of 10 years hands on electrical commissioning experience on process or power plants.

HND or equivalent in relevant discipline.

Must be familiar with designing energisation programmes for electrical net works and substations and be familiar with pre and post energisation protocols and standards.

Must be competent to start up and load electrical generation equipment. Must be competent at trouble shooting and compilation of QC records and managing test team. Must have sound knowledge of working at 33kV and electrical PTW standards
