Our home Town, Buxton, is on the edge of the Peak National Park. It is a tourist centre and we benefit by having so many excellent hotels and restaurants as a result. The Club President Bruce Thomson and our 41 members ensure that all visiting Rotarians are made most welcome.

We meet for dinner at 1900 for 1930 on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of each month excepting December at The Buckingham Hotel, 1 Burlington Road, Buxton, tel: 01298 70481. Clubs formed up to 1922 could elect to meet fortnightly and this is what our forefathers elected to do. In our annual vote on this issue it is always carried nem. con! We believe that this is one of our attributes which enables us to have a thriving membership. The Club holds some special evenings when partners and guests are invited and in addition holds regular committee meetings on separate occasions. Wives of members are invited to join the Inner Wheel Club of Buxton. It is also a successful and thriving club which meets monthly at the Lee Wood Hotel, Buxton. Club Charter Dinner is held on the second Wednesday of December - book early if you want Fellowship and a gastronomic delight!
