The English Department is housed in a suite of rooms in the Westmoreland Building at UCC running the length of the top corridor. This suite of rooms includes a computer room and sixth form study office.

Each room has access to TV and Video technology, and a roaming DVD system means that nothing is left blurred around the edges,

We've got lots of them.  Two offices full, in fact, and new titles are added

AS/A English Literature (AQA)
AS/A Media Studies from Sept 2003

The English Department at UCC is proud of its reputation  of encouraging creative writing, running competitions and special focus days through the year, including National Poetry Day

All years benefit from theatre and other visits, as well as workshops with writers such as Brian Patten, David Almond and Janni Howker...

The English Department has a lot to offer each individual student, just as each individual student has a lot to offer us.
