Who are we! Greenwich Kurdish Community Association (GKCA) exists to promote and improve the welfare of the Kurdish community in Greenwich and the surrounding boroughs by provision of information, advice, guidance, social activities and education. The association was established in October 1992 in response to the growing needs of the Kurdish community in London Borough of Greenwich to a challenging in its workload together with a growth in membership.
GKCA Services: Training and Educational services: GKCA provides training and education courses to increase knowledge and awareness of the public and prepare individuals to get better opportunities in life and become an effective memeber of the society.
Social and Cultural events:
Information and advocacy: GKCA provides information and advice for Kurdish refugees in the London Borough of Greenwich and surrounding areas on Education, Health, Housing, Social Security Benefits and Immigration.
Interpreting Services: We provide interpreting services for clients at Council offices, hospitals, other establishments and agencies. |
