Fylde and District Branch hold show jumping competitions, training sessions and show jumping and working hunter classes are included in their Annual Show.

We also field teams and individuals for the Winter Series Show Jumping and teams for Area Show Jumping . Training sessions are organised with a specialist trainer who prepares the teams for competition. All members are encouraged to attend training sessions but advice on the standard of jumping proficiency required for any session should be heeded.

The Dengie Winter League is a National competition for Pony Club Members only, with qualifying rounds held at centres all round Britain. Our nearest Dengie Winter League venue is Osbaldeston - a venue we also use for competitions and training.  

We also have un-mounted rallies covering course building and course walking.  When the jumps get bigger, it soon becomes clear that just being able to get over a fence isn't all you need to be able to do!  An idea of how the course builder designs a track uses little tricks to catch out the less prepared (and keep the numbers through to the jump-off low!) all help a rider to be aware of the traps, ride accurately and hopefully go clear.
