Fylde tries to organise show jumping training/rallies throughout the year, both in preparation for competitions and as an opportunity to learn and improve your jumping technique.  The sessions are normally arranged to cater for small groups of similar ability or experience, so all riders may confidently participate at their own level.  Each session will be advertised as being suitable for a certain level and members will not be put into any group jumping above their current, safe, limit - to avoid any worries about denting confidence!  As with any jumping, wearing a body protector is  advisable at all levels.

Please note that occasionally, candidates for certain training dates/sessions MUST be able to jump confidently and competently around a course of AT LEAST whatever the specified height for the session is. These training sessions will be geared towards competitions with courses of a set minimum height.  Riders need to be fully prepared to jump fences built beyond this height as they will hopefully go through to the jump off!  For safety reasons only, horses, ponies and riders should not be asked to go beyond their current level of proficiency.  There is always next time.
