The first step is to build the Bolton spinet kit that I have had lying around for a shameful number of years.
This will provide a practice instrument (construction and playing) while I decide what to do next.
The long term plan is to build a decent instrument and learn to play the Goldberg variations on it (two lifetimes' work there), so eventually I will need to make a double-manual harpsichord.
