Ann came to England from her native California in 1972 to further her musical studies. After completing one post graduate year at Trinity College, London and a further year at the Royal Academy of Music, she chose to stay on in this country of cultural excellence and became a free-lance musician and a teacher. She played with many of the London orchestras and ballet companies through the years and has travelled throughout Europe doing concert tours. Since marrying her musician husband and having her two children she now concentrates on music copying and engraving. She works for several large European music publishers as an engraver (the posh term for computer DTP for music publication) and has worked for many composers including Richard Harvey, Jerry Goldsmith, John Taverner, Peter Maxwell-Davies and Harrison Birtwistle producing music for television, cinema and all forms of live performance. Some of her television involvement has included September Song, Dr. Finlays Casebook, Wildlife on One, The Ambassador, Jane Eyre, and Arabian Nights.
