Fil and Songbirds...
In 2005 Fil presented a 6 part TV series for Irish Television (RTE) celebrating the lives and music of Delia Murphy and 4 other Irish women who first recorded the songs that everyone grew up with in Ireland and which formed the musical backdrop of the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s.

Entitled Songbirds - The First Ladies of Irish Song the shows are now available on DVD, and a CD of songs recorded by Fil and guests from the Irish folk music world also accompanies the series. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
