PAT Testing Training Course 17th June 2009

The Hi-Tide Conference Suite. Porthcawl. Bridgend. Wales.

Price £195.00 inclusive

Our one-day certificated PAT testing training course is designed to give you the necessary skill, experience and knowledge to carry out Portable Appliance Testing - either in your own workplace, or as a service to other people. You will receive a certificate at the end of the course, and you will be able to carry out PAT testing after completing the course - you do not need to be a qualified electrician - we start at the beginning. All you need is a willingness to learn, and some common sense!

Our courses are all held in top venues, with first class facilities and excellent catering - all INCLUDED in the course fee! Or, if you prefer, we can organise training at your premises. Our courses are not lectures, but interactive training events designed to give YOU the essential information, experience and knowledge to carry out PAT testing.

All of our courses are led by Steve Caprice - One of the UK's leading authority on PAT testing. Steve has years of experience in the field of PAT testing and has worked at the highest levels in the industry.

The course contains valuable practical sessions to give you hands-on experience of PAT testing. If you already have a PAT tester, bring it with you to the session if you can - otherwise use ours! We're happy to show you how to get the best from your PAT tester, or give you unbiased advice on the best machines to buy for your needs.

All relevant legislation will be covered, as well as an overview of the latest guidance from the Health and Safety Executive and other bodies. The content will be based on the latest IEE guidelines and other nationally recognised guidance, especially with regard to frequency of testing, or particular test methods.

The seminar will begin at 10am and finish at 4pm. Aim to arrive about 9:45 - you'll be greeted with a cup of tea or coffee! The programme will be kept fairly flexible to allow topics of interest to be covered, but the break and lunch times will be adhered to, and the course will not over-run beyond 4:15.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the day and are included in the course fee. We always make provision for meat and vegetarian diets, and can cater for any special dietary needs on request. It is our policy to use venues which provide facilities for disabled delegates, but please let us know if you have any special requirements
