TRAINING COURSES

We perform different combinations of the following tests to determine
satisfactory operation and electrical integrity of all appliances.

Visual Inspection

It is most important to perform a detailed visual inspection of all appliances to
ensure no visual defects are present that may at the outset impair or prohibit use.
80%+ of all faults are detected at this stage prior to starting any electrical tests.

Earth Continuity Test
To test earth quality and establish sufficiently low earth path resistance.

Insulation Resistance Test
A specified voltage is applied to determine electrical insulation quality.

Earth Leakage Test
Designed for delicate electrical items when the Insulation test is inappropriate.

Electrical Strength Test
Flash test or Dielectric strength test uses up to 3750 volts.

Microwave Test
To ensure satisfactory door operation and ensure microwave leakage does not
exceed British Standards. Not all testing company's check this - we do.

Functional and Load Variance Test
Important to establish correct operation of switchgear and correct power
consumption readings in accordance with the appliance rating.

Due to high voltages used when testing such testing must only be performed by competent personnel.
We accept no responsibility for any consequences of any person attempting testing as a result of any
information displayed in this web site. All content is solely for information purposes. Electricity can kill.
