Below is a brief summary of research, consultancy and business conducted in the UK, USA, East and Western Europe, Scandanavia, Asia, Africa. Further supporting information on research, publications and consultancy can be provided on request

 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Nuclear power - Hinkley Point Public Inquiry. Our evidence on radioactive air pollution modelling, ecology and agriculture, was cited by the Inspector in his official report. EnviroScience showed that the nuclear industry failed to consider the fundamental dynamics of ecology and food chains, and protection of UK food supply and health. We showed that a Chernobyl scale accident could close down all UK food production indefinately, in 3 days, as is still the case for hundreds of miles and long into the future around Chernobyl. We are preparing to challenge current UK nuclear expansion and welcome contact and proposals for collaboration.

Pesticide production plants - Successfully challenged EIA, plume dispersion modelling, risk assessment, IPC review. Scrutiny commission expert witness, ecology, transnational and NGO representation. EnviroScience showed major failings of pollution control, hidden risk of 1:50 major pollution event and incompetent risk assessment by major multinational.

Toxic waste incineration - technology assessment, risk assessment, policy recommendation to government, expert witness and technical advisor to legal counsel. EnviroScience showed hidden pollution incidents, technology rejected by other governments and inability of proposal to protect ground water - representing 10% of the UK drinking water resource.

 Ecology

Diverse habitat surveys and management of woodland, indigenous forestry, organic and conventional agriculture, rivers, estuaries, mountains and moorland. Restoration and management plans for ancient and indigenous woodland, sustainable conservation and native forest production.

Innovative and original use of satellite imaging in ecology. Representation, expert witness and innovative solutions to support Tree Preservation Orders, street and garden trees. Solution to tree induced subsidence that sustainably protects both trees and property. Representations to London Boroughs/Greater London Assembly, London Tree Officers Association, London Tree and Woodland Framework, Subsidence Forum, Clay Research Group.
