Once again, the River Valley Rebels are pleased to invite you and your members to Western Weekend at Wokinghakm on the Weekends of May Bank Holiday and August Bank Holiday. Dates for this year are Friday May 4th - Monday May 7th, and Friday August 24th - Monday August 27th.
As usual, we will be hosting many Western Activities - fast draw, rifle shoot, horseshoe pitching, roping etc., with trophies for the winners. There will also be music and dancing in our club room, with bar.

Charges for the weekend will be £6/adult and £3/child, incl entrance to all competitions. For extra nights before or after the round-up, charges at £1.50/adult kids go free. Dogs are permitted on site but must be kept under supervision and on leads at all times, and confined to your own camp area.

The usual campsite services will be available - Chemical toilet disposal, freezer pack recharging and so on.

The good news is the new official site for 2002 will be Crealy Park near Exeter. Free entry into the park is included in the camping fee's which will be paid on gate. (No deposit required)

Pre Booked:- Adults £20. Children 14 and under £10. Under 5's Free
Unbooked:- Adults £25. Children 14 and under £15.

We will be camping just outside the park (within a couple of minutes walking distance) sited in a large suitably flat field where there are no hills to climb going to and from the bar, restaurant and park.
They will have all the usual facilities, i.e. showers and toilets in the field, usual camp rules will apply. Shoot out's, parades, fast draws and field games will carry on as usual and we hope to include clay pigeon shooting. Live music will be on at least the same level asa `Shire 2000' and the usual traders will be there.

Events to include:- Horseshoe Pitching, Gunfights, Clay shoot, Rifle Shoot, Black Powder shoot, Archery, Knife throwing, Tomahawk, Roping, Canoeing, Pony Rides. For Horse Riding please bring your own Western saddles if you have them. Showers and Toilets on site.
Prices are as follows £15/Adult for nine (9) days. or £2/night. £5/Child for nine (9) days. or £0.75p/night.

Rules for the camp

The following rules are intended to ensure the Safety, Comfort and Enjoyment of all on site so take heed.

1. Fire: to be dug out properly and turf to be saved, to be put out properly at night (also paraffin lights) cleaned out completely, and turf to be replaced before final depature from site.
2. All Dogs to be kept on leads unless in unit, this applies to all parts of the site and at all times. This rule will be strictly enforced. Please clean any mess made by your dog on the main field.
3. Wood will be available on site but may have to be collected. Use only cut wood not standing timber, Please bring a logsaw & axe.
4. Parents are responsible for their children at all times, Don't be to strict - we want them to enjoy also.
5. Gunfire hours are 10:00 - 18:00 Mon - Sat. All guns to be legal - if a licence is needed, it is to be shown on site, Ammo - Blanks only to be brought on site. Shot gun cartridges will be provided by gunmarshal on events.
6. Generators for day time for charging Batterys only please. Avoid night time use.
7. Most Rubbish can be burnt on campfires, please burn cans clean of contents to keep away wasps & flies. Rubbish bags to be taken to disposal point.
8. No vehicles inside camp circles at any time.
