Staff consultant on Project Completion Report Mission. Assisting Bank staff complete the PCR for a project situated in the Stage I of the Chashma Right Bank Irrigation Project. The 58,070 ha Project has a drainage component consisting of interceptor, subsurface and surface drains with associated pump stations and electrification, and an agricultural development component involving construction of over 160 new watercourses, provision of service roads and strengthening of agricultural extension and research services.
Responsible for recruitment of local consultants, purchase of equipment and preparation of final report. Studied ways of strengthening the implementation capacity of Directorate of OFWM and the role of Water Users Associations in watercourse improvement and post-improvement water management and agriculture related activities. Collected and analysed specific project related data required for appraisal of the Project by the Bank.

Design and implementation project of 42 small irrigation schemes in arid area. Guided and trained local staff and local consultants in planning, designing and supervising construction of command area improvement works. Works included concrete lined and stone masonry channels and small structures such as flow division structures, outlets, drop structures, pipe culverts and road culverts.
