Our aim is to make you welcome and to make your stay at the converted stable a pleasure, and satisfy your expectations.  Up until 1989 the building was being used as a stable, and because the conversion sought to maintain the building’s original character, access is more limited than that of a purpose built accommodation.

TRANSPORT
There is a bus stop at the end of the road with three buses an hour to and from Guildford. From Guildford there is an excellent fast service to London Waterloo station and Portsmouth in the opposite direction.
The village with two food stores and two good pubs is 6-8 minutes walk and there are large supermarkets at Guildford and Godalming.

PARKING
There is no off-street parking but Eastwood road is a quiet cul-de-sac and there is mostly easy parking adjacent to Juniper Cottage.

ACCESS
Access to the Stable is through a five bar gate to the side of Juniper Cottage and 20 meters along a level drive of stone chippings.

There is one 23cm step into the building which has standard width doors throughout. The upstairs bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase (NB there is no door to this bedroom for privacy /sound from the living room with single bed below. This upstairs bedroom has been converted from the original hayloft and as such has restricted access:  The double bed is set low (28cm to top of mattress) for this reason.

In the kitchen there is a 4 plate gas hob and an eye level microwave/oven. There is a platform available if required. The washroom has no bath but a wash basin and shower with step over  access (30 cm), and toilet.

FIRE SAFETY
Smoking is not permitted in the building.
The building is fitted with wired smoke alarm, a fire blanket, an extinguisher, and, in the unlikely need of evacuation from the bedroom, an escape ladder.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dogs are welcome but must be able to share the grounds with our own friendly dogs.
Smoking is not permitted in the building but is allowed in the grassed area of the garden which is shared with Juniper Cottage.
Mobile phone signals are generally good but a land line is available on request.
Wireless connection to broadband is available and free.
