Hagbourne Barn Dance Club meets usually on the third Friday of every month (except August) in the Village Hall, East Hagbourne, which is a village about two miles south of Didcot. The Village Hall is opposite the School, on the road to West Hagbourne. There is plenty of parking behind the Village Hall. All ages are welcome.
Times are 8.00 - 11.00pm. Malcolm Bright does most of the calling, but others will
also have a go!
As the name suggests, we do mainly traditional dances, but a typical programme will also include American and Playford style dances.
Most of the time, we dance to live music, as a number of the club members play.
Members usually bring a small plate of food for the refreshments during the interval.
It is a party atmosphere and it is very sociable.
Come along and visit us - we would love to have your company and will try our hardest to make you feel at home. Families are very welcome, and subscriptions are £10 per year. We look forward to seeing you.
