PERCEPTIONS ON WHICH TO PONDER
The subconscious decides upon an action before the conscious is even notified. When we think consciously we are only selecting what can be verbalised. Verbal fluency is often mistaken for intelligence. Most purchasing decisions are emotional. We imbue them with logic to satisfy our ego. Most people confuse thinking with just rearranging their prejudices. The conscious allows in only the perceptions which reinforce its belief systems. The subconscious has permanent memory. The conscious has only temporary recall. Humans usually prefer to rationalise (invent) - despite, or in the absence of , the facts. Taste saliva in your mouth and then spit it into a glass and drink it. The saliva doesn't change but notice how your perception does!
Remember - the diving bell was invented by an astronomer, the pneumatic tyre by a vet, the telephone exchange by an undertaker - gifted amateurs were responsible for the jet-engine, the ball-point pen, the zip fastener and the TV. So, never be afraid to ask those magic words . . . . . .
