Rhythm forms the basis to all music. Percussion instruments, and drumming in particular, are fascinating by the nature of the sounds produced which can be perceived by the entire body. Children and adults alike find drumming a highly enjoyable experience, particularly as basic skills are achieved easily and quickly.

We believe that "Rhythm-Time" provides a positive and valuable experience that is beneficial to children's development of motor skills as well as their listening and attention skills.

Our aims are:

To promote music in schools and the community through projects, classes and workshops.
To broaden West African musical and cultural awareness.
To develop individual and group working skills.
To make every workshop a joyful, motivational and energising experience.
