After some discomfort since about June recently I found out I had a hernia. This has not stopped me biking and even racing. Some days it has made me go a bit slower and I've been a bit grumpy but I have still be biking. As I have BUPA insurance it was quickly operated on - 14th October '04.  This will mean no cyclo-cross until December, this will mean no National Trophy Series this year.  Hopefully I can get back to do a decent ride at the National Championships in January.
