In May I took part in a charity event in aid of Action Research. This was supported by Tescos and involved 4 days of hard riding in the north of Italy. The first day was a short taster of what was to come, a lap of a lake, a small climb and a picturesque trip back along the side of a lake. Day 2  (80miles) was the mountain day with a 10 mile climb, this was a real challenge to the group - the all rose to the challenge! Day 3 was the big 100 mile day, this was mainly around Lake Garda and along great cycle track. Some of the quicker group even decided to ride up to the hotel, another 17 miles up another mountain. Day 3 was an easier day, still a good ride, we  managed a swim at lunch time. The evening was spent in Venice for a presentation meal. £50,000 was raised for Action Research, thanks to all that helped.
