Mountain biking in Sierra Espuna, Spain - 1st - 8th March '03

I've spent another week away "training" in Spain. This time it was a mountain biking week in one of my favourite places Sierra Espuna. It was more of a weeks holiday than serious training, but we were out on the bike for a good portion of the day and did some great track.

The group were mainly made up of people that had been before so this made for a good atmosphere. We were out on the bike at 10 and were really back before 5, we did have a lunch stop though!  All of the best tracks have been given names like El Rapido, El Indio, 1000 bends, the Black Wall and a new track that has been named after Steve Wade from Orange Bikes El Wadio. This was a new track for me an one of the best ones in the area.

Hopefully I will be back again next year!
