Dumfries & Galloway Web Site was launched in January 2001. Our aim is to keep it up-dated regularly so that you may know of changes to our programme or other matters which might interest you.

The National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens (NCCPG) now has a national Web site, which can be found at http://www.nccpg.com. This site has news about the national events organised by headquarters at Loseley Park, Guildford, and about the constituent groups which make up the organisation. Many of these groups have their own local web sites, which can be accessed from the national site. The site also carries information about the local contacts for the groups.

The NCCPG also annually publishes The National Plant Collections Directory, which lists all the approximately 650 national plant collections where rare and endangered plants are raised and preserved for posterity by members of the local groups.
