About the NCCPGBackgroundDumfries & Galloway Plant Heritage Group has been in existence for over 20 years. We have over 80 members scattered across the region. It is one of 42 groups across the UK, of which five are in Scotland. The groups are part of the National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens (NCCPG), which is a registered charity. All members of the Dumfries & Galloway Group are also members of the parent organisation, the NCCPG, which has its headquarters at Loseley Park, Guildford. EventsSpecialist talks by plantsmen and women are held throughout the year. For this year we have again arranged visits to well known and some lesser known gardens and attractions. We will also be visiting local gardens, both private and public, and holding plant sales as in previous years. Our plans for this year, including an indication of the talks which will be held are detailed in the Programme of Events section. If you wish to speak to us about any of the above or want further information, please visit our Contact Us page. Comments or questions about this site or the NCCPG?
