Active in MIND, the UKs National Association for Mental Health.
1980s on: Member of British Psychological Society 1980s:
Participant in university staff philosophy discussion group.
Participant in training, encounter, psychodrama,
psychosynthesis, spiritual practice programmes, ranging from
mainstream government staff development programmes to more controversial
programmes (eg Erhardt Seminars Training, Rajneesh training). Participant in
Theravada and Zen Buddhist retreats. Training and development programmes total
several thousand hours over these decades. As a part of the generation of
68 I did not itemise every unit of training and experience in an
employment portfolio.
