Finding a Way is written for those for whom spiritual values are important and whose needs for self- discovery and relating to others are not met by religious teaching or conventional psychology. It is a teach-yourself course, going through the vital areas of living where so often we have learned to accept second best. So we say, ‘I don’t want to commit myself’, or ‘I can’t make any difference’. Can we learn to relax, to be better listeners, to be more assertive, to avoid useless worry and self-torture, to co- operate, to take responsibility, to be more effective parents? Though none of these skills in human relationship are easy to master, a practical programme is presented, with questions for self-assessment at every stage.
