gig
on Wednesday 2nd March. The whole night was dogged
by problems, including the late running of the show,
so your patience was very much appreciated.
Unfortunately the band left the stage after just a 30
minute set, but what we did hear we loved - Engineers
proved why they're one of the best bands around today.
Support came courtesy of the fantastic
Mystery Jets
and the lovely
The Research
, with both groups being
not only great, but well nice people to boot.
Cheers to everyone.
2004
THE FALLOUT TRUST
amazed the small crowd
that turned up to check out this little enigma of a gig.
The band rose to the occasion nontheless, to play
one of the best sets we've seen in ages! So a massive
thank you to those who came to witness one of the
UK's best-kept secrets - one very special night...
Let's also raise a glass to
Brinkman
, who opened
the gig beautifully with their blend of quirky country
acoustica, and to local heroes
In Vitro
, who never
fail to impress with their talent and musicianship.

THE BOXER REBELLION

Pressure Point, to promote their new single, Code Red
(out 27.09.04 on Poptones/Mercury) on Wednesday
22nd September.
2GREATRECORDS would like to thank everyone who
came down to see this fantastic band, whether for the
1st or 2nd time. All concerned had a wicked night, and
I hope you did too.
The band have promised to return in February 2005 to
promote the release (finally - yay!) of their debut album.
I, for one, can't wait!
The Boxer Rebellion are supporting Biffy Clyro at the
Concorde 2 on Saturday 9th October if, like me, you
can't wait until Feb.

THE VESSELS CANCELLED
Unfortunately and incredibly sadly,
The Vessels'
gig at the Pressure Point on Wednesday 16th June 2004
was cancelled. The band will be releasing their
second album under the new moniker
Brinkman,
and no doubt, if their debut was anything to go by,
it will be f*cking amazing. I hope to have
Brinkman
rescheduled for some time in the near future.
Watch this space.

Thank you to everyone who came to see

South were brilliant, I'm sure you'll agree, as were
both support bands,
In Vitro and
Lyca Sleep
.
South are an incredible band and their beautifully-
produced second album, With The Tides is out
now
