25th July 2003 - GaSCiT 2003 really began as the Scouts & Guides started to arrive on site spent some enjoyable time on the Space Sub-camp (where of course nobody can hear you scream (particularly some of the kids)) with Granville who was very amusing with his descriptions of some of the SAGGA quirks! Auntie Mad (http://www.planet-mad.blogspot.com) came to visit on occasions to see how we were and even help the 1/4 raddish (aka 1st/4th Reddish) to sort out their washing up problems (i.e. they argued over it all the time and didn't quite seem to get it done! We had PL arguments on the sub-camp so had the whole camp experience there!

26th July 2003 - More enjoyable fun at GaSCiT!

27th July 2003 - Even more enjoyable fun at GaSCiT!

28th July 2003 - More enjoyable fun at GaSCiT, even though by this time we were all beginning to get tired and very worn out, luckily the sub camp staff had some time off as the activities staff took the Scouts off site to complete a wide game!

29th July 2003 - The last day of GaSCiT came around very quickly, all that remained now was to take down the marquee’s and tents and generally tidy up the site, looking back at the previous five days I can say that I have really enjoyed myself, and would definitely do it again!

14th August 2003 - On the third day we visited Caernarfon and saw the interior of the beautiful castle and harbour and     moved from the travelodge in Bangor as it was full to a pub and Bed and Breakfast near Bangor         at Llanfairpwllgwyngyl gogerychwyndrobwllantysiliogog, a very long place name which I was told               means “The church of mary in the hollow of the white hazel near the fierce whirlpool and the church of    Tysilio by the red cave”, however the town also had quite a large Pringles store making it a haven for      tourists and therefore quite busy during the day, but relatively quiet and nice in the evening!

15th August 2003 - On the fourth day we visited a town called Llangollen a nice town on the edge of the River Dee on              the East side of Wales and took a trip on a steam railway in the town, which was an enjoyable experience!
