The Ludlow Civic Society believes in maintaining the historic integrity and future vitality of Ludlow through well-planned and sympathetic development and so the Society:

Promotes and encourages the highest standards of architecture and planning. Stimulates interest in the care, beauty, character and history of our special town. Conserves and protects the features and buildings of the town from adverse development. Acts as a co-ordinator and consultative body by liaising with local authorities, planning committees etc in pursuit of the Society's objectives. Offers a programme of events and lectures intended to enhance appreciation of the history, geography, and architecture of the town and its surroundings.
